On-boarding checklist - emphasize obligation to attend the DMDP training
request from Regina:
When looking for information myself, I realise that registration at Docebo is not mentioned in the “onboarding” How-to card. Docebo is also not mentioned under “important websites”. And the data protection training is only mentioned as the last point under “Complete your trainings to get further access to the labs. The godparent should make sure that the new colleague receives the Biosafety, Data Management and Data Protection Training before starting lab work, as all LCSB employees must be aware of the guidelines and risks.” This may not speak to people working outside the lab. It also seems down to the godparent, which is often dysfunctional or not even nominated. Could we increase the pressure and message here? That researchers MUST have this training, lab or no lab? And how to get it rather than through godparent only?
